Meet Brian.
I spent my career inside government, leading service design and product teams at organizations including the Government Digital Service, Ministry of Justice, and Canadian Digital Service. From scaling COVID Alert across Canada to redesigning prison money management at the UK Ministry of Justice, I've shipped public services that work for the people using them.
I founded Civiq to broaden the work. The questions that pull me most don't sit inside any single department: how government uses technology to serve people better. Working independently lets me partner across jurisdictions, bringing what I've learned in one place to the work in another.
On larger engagements, I partner with like-minded boutique firms who share my approach. Whether you're working with me directly or through a strategic partner, you get the same thing: a seasoned practitioner whose work leaves your team stronger, capable of carrying it forward after I'm gone.
